Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued a decision appointing Engineer Ilham Mohamed Abdel Aziz El-Sergany as Assistant Minister for Strategic Affairs and Management of Ministerial Projects and Programs. The appointment is effective for a one-year contract starting July 1, 2025, with the possibility of renewal.
According to the ministerial decision, Engineer Ilham El-Sergany will be responsible for matters related to the minister’s strategic affairs, including the following tasks:

Coordinating with other ministries and external entities on shared matters.

Supervising, following up on, and collaborating with ministry bodies on ongoing projects.

Overseeing the implementation of the government’s program across the ministry’s various sectors.

Monitoring periodic reports on the management and execution of national projects.

Preparing briefing files for the Minister’s meetings, including the weekly Cabinet meeting, the Ministerial Group for Industrial Development, the Supreme Energy Council, and others.
