Minister of Housing Announces New Appointments and Transfers Across New City Authorities

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued a decision involving new appointments and transfers within several new city development authorities. According to a statement from the Ministry of Housing, these changes are part of the ministry’s efforts to enhance efficiency and leadership in key urban development projects.

The decision assigns Eng. Essam Ibrahim Mohamed El-Sheikh, previously Assistant Head of Rashid New City Development Authority, as Deputy Head of New Alamein City Development Authority. Eng. Ahmed Hassan Ahmed Abdel Halim, formerly Assistant Head of Borg El Arab New City, is now promoted to Deputy Head of the same city’s authority.

Furthermore, Eng. Mohamed Kamel Abdallah El-Wahidy, a Senior Civil Engineer at Beni Suef New City Development Authority, will take on the role of Deputy Head of Rashid New City and West Carrefour. Eng. Amal Lotfi Hana Bishai, a Second Electrical Engineer at the 6th of October City Development Authority, assigned to a mission in the Gardens of October City Authority, is now appointed as Deputy Head of 6th of October City Development Authority, supervising electrical work in both Gardens of October and New October cities.

In addition, Eng. Radi Moussa, formerly Assistant Head of 6th of October City, is now promoted to Deputy Head of the city. Eng. Zazou Sarol Mohamed, previously Deputy Head of Fayoum New City, is now appointed Deputy Head of New October City. Eng. Mohsen Yousry Mohamed Abu El-Abd, former Deputy Head of the Gardens of October City, is transferred to be Deputy Head of Badr City.

The decision also includes several other appointments, such as Eng. Tarek Mohamed Zaki Hussein, who will serve as Deputy Head of Waraq Island New City while maintaining his role as Deputy Head of Sheikh Zayed City. Eng. Tamer Gaber Mohamed Gaber, previously Deputy Head of Beni Suef New City, is assigned as Deputy Head of New Cairo’s Third Settlement, treated with the status of a “B-Class” city head.

These appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the ministry to strengthen leadership and maintain progress in urban development initiatives across Egypt.
