Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Sherif El-Sherbiny, and Fayoum Governor, Ahmed Al-Ansari, concluded their tour in the governorate by inspecting the “Batn Ahrayt” and “Al-Hamouli” wastewater treatment plants in Youssef Al-Seddik Center, as part of the “Decent Life” initiative, accompanied by officials from the ministry and the governorate.
They inspected the components of the Batn Ahrayt Plant, which has a capacity of 10/20 thousand m³ per day, at a cost of 482 million EGP, built on an area of 10 feddans, serving several villages. The minister directed the teams to expedite completion of the project and adhere to all standards.

They also visited the expansion project of the Al-Hamouli Plant, which operates with a capacity of 10–15 thousand m³ per day, with a cost of 340 million EGP, constructed on an area of 10 feddans, serving around 60,000 residents in other villages within the center. The minister emphasized the importance of maintaining the facilities to ensure sustainable service.
