Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, received Engineer Sherif Al-Shorbiny, Minister of Housing, at the Ministry of Awqaf headquarters to discuss joint topics between the two ministries, with officials from both sides in attendance. Al-Azhari welcomed Al-Shorbiny, congratulating him on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, and emphasized the benefit of cooperation between the two ministries for the service of the nation and citizens, as well as for supporting the urban development renaissance in Egypt.
For his part, Al-Shorbiny expressed his happiness with the meeting, praising the ongoing cooperation between the ministries and thanking Al-Azhari for his swift response to resolve disputes. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in awareness programs.
The two ministers discussed ways to enhance effective cooperation between their ministries to support national projects that serve citizens and improve their quality of life. They confirmed the importance of continued coordination on shared issues and the need for continuous work and innovative joint solutions to strengthen the ministries’ roles in achieving Egypt’s vision for sustainable development. They agreed on creating a unified mechanism to implement service projects more efficiently.
Several prominent officials in housing and awqaf attended the meeting, including Engineer Ilham Al-Sarjani, engineers, and legal consultants from various agencies, such as the New Urban Communities Authority and the Egyptian Awqaf Authority.
