Engineer Ali Mohamed Saad, Head of the 15th of May City Development Authority, announced that the authority’s Agriculture Department has prepared a comprehensive plan to celebrate the spring holidays and Sham El-Nessim. The plan includes the care and maintenance of public gardens that cover an area exceeding 1.6 million square meters of green spaces. These efforts aim to preserve the public order and the city’s civilized appearance.
The Head of the Authority noted that the maintenance and care of green areas are being carried out under the supervision of Engineer Mohamed Mabrouk, Deputy Head of the Authority for Agriculture, and Engineer Gamil El-Hawiny, Director of the Agriculture Department. These efforts include pruning trees and plants, cleaning pathways, and beautifying parks to ensure they appear in their best form for visitors.
Engineer Ali Mohamed Saad explained that the green areas within the city contain more than 50,000 diverse and flowering trees, which add a distinctive aesthetic touch to the festive atmosphere.
The Head of the 15th of May City Development Authority emphasized that these preparations are part of the Authority’s commitment to providing a safe and attractive environment for citizens and visitors to enjoy their Sham El-Nessim holiday. He also stressed the ongoing efforts in maintenance and beautification to ensure the city retains its civilized appearance.
