Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed the existence of many unutilized lands along the Nile Corniche and in areas such as Khedivial Cairo and others. He pointed out that directives have been issued to conduct a comprehensive inventory of these lands and assess their value and assets.
During his weekly press conference, Madbouly explained that plans focus on studying the mechanisms and available options to achieve optimal investment in these assets. He noted that some of these lands could be worth tens of billions of pounds, making their neglect a waste of valuable resources.
He added that the state aims to offer these lands as investment opportunities in cooperation with the private sector, with some targeted for use in tourism, hotel, residential, and administrative projects.

In a related context, Madbouly pointed out that the state was previously criticized for controlling certain sectors and directly implementing projects without giving space to the private sector. Now, with private sector participation opportunities being presented, some perceive it as a concession of these assets—something that must be clarified to the public to ensure maximum benefit for supporting the national economy.
