Legislative Reforms and Promoting Egyptian Real Estate Are Top Priorities for the Coming Phase

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasized that the Egyptian state is steadily moving forward with reforming the real estate system—starting with enhancing the legislative framework and extending to boosting the global competitiveness of Egyptian real estate.

In his speech at the “Akhbar Al-Youm Real Estate Conference,” El-Sherbiny highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting real estate exports as one of the strategic pillars of economic growth. He explained that improving the real estate investment environment and marketing Egyptian property internationally have become key priorities for the ministry.

The Minister further added that the government places great importance on this vital sector and is working to overcome all challenges facing it. These efforts aim to improve the quality of life for Egyptian citizens and reinforce Egypt’s position as a regional hub for real estate investment.
