Minister of Housing and Utilities Sherif El-Sherbiny and Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy conducted an inspection tour of El Nady Club in the New Administrative Capital to follow up on the progress of sports and service facilities. The tour included visits to the swimming pool complex, squash courts, tennis courts, football fields, the gymnastics hall, and the multi-purpose hall for people with disabilities. The ministers reviewed the available equipment and services to ensure an exceptional sports experience for members.
During the tour, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, presented Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, with a membership in the El Nady Club in the New Administrative Capital as a token of appreciation for his role in developing sports infrastructure. El-Sherbiny emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two ministries to promote sports, noting the significant progress Egypt has achieved in this field thanks to the support of the political leadership. He also added that the Ministry of Housing is committed to meeting citizens’ needs in the new cities, including providing high-quality recreational services.
Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny directed the officials of the New Administrative Capital Authority to coordinate with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support sports facilities. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy affirmed that the visit aimed to monitor major sports projects, highlighting that El Nady Club represents an advanced model of sports clubs built to the highest international standards.
