Registering on “Maskan” for New Housing Units

According to the Ministry of Housing, the terms, booking methods, site details, unit sizes, prices, and payment methods will be available on the Maskan platform. Interested buyers can visit www.reserve.newcities.gov.eg from October 27, 2024, to December 26, 2024. The date for the public lottery for applicants will be announced later.
Steps to Create an Account on “Maskan”
Review the map of the desired location.
Register on the “Maskan” platform.
Click “New User.”
Fill in the required information.
Create an account.
Activate your account via email.
Click the link to proceed with the reservation.
Select the desired floor.
Submit a booking request.
Provide payment details.
Upload required documents.
Submit the booking request.
Download, sign, and upload the booking form.
Upload the receipt for the booking fee (151,000 EGP).
Click “Save” to finalize the request.
Once the receipt is uploaded and saved, no further modifications can be made.
Cities Offering Units through “Sakan Misr,” “Dar Misr,” and “Janna” Programs
Housing Minister Sherif El-Sherbini announced the immediate availability of 6,575 ready-to-deliver units across 15 new cities, including New Cairo, New Alamein, New Mansoura, 6th of October, New October, Badr, Obour, and others.
Unit Sizes in Sakan Misr, Dar Misr, and Janna
Dr. Hassan El-Shorbaji, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), provided details on available unit sizes. These include:
409 “Janna” units in New Cairo, with sizes ranging from 100m² to 150m².
700 “Sakan Misr” units in New Cairo, with sizes ranging from 106m² to 133m².
Various units in other cities such as 6th of October, New October, Badr, and more.
Prices and Reservation Fees
Eng. Amr Khattab, spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, revealed that reservation fees can reach up to 150,000 EGP, with unit prices ranging from 8,000 to 15,000 EGP per square meter, depending on the location.
