Engineer Ahmed Abdel Razek, supervisor of the Minister of Housing’s office, conducted a field visit to New Alamein City to monitor the progress of ongoing projects. He was accompanied by Engineer Ahmed Ibrahim, head of the city authority, during an inspection of the residential compound project “Mazarine,” which spans 707 feddans and includes 7,956 residential units. Abdel Razek emphasized the urgency of completing landscaping and facade finishing works to ensure the project is ready to receive residents as soon as possible.
Engineer Ahmed Abdel Razek also inspected the beach leveling works designated for New Alamein property owners, highlighting the importance of completing this phase to enhance coastal and tourism-related activities. He visited the Cairo Runners event, which reflects the city’s vibrancy as both a sports and residential destination. The visit concluded with an inspection of construction works in the Heritage City’s parking garage. Officials stressed the need to accelerate progress on this project, which covers 260 feddans and includes prominent cultural and tourism facilities, contributing to the city’s architectural and cultural identity and reinforcing its status as a key tourist and investment hub.
During the field tour, Engineer Ahmed Abdel Razek underscored the importance of adhering to quality standards, precision in execution, and strict compliance with project timelines. He warned of firm actions against underperforming contractors and instructed Ministry of Housing officials to submit regular progress reports and immediately address any observations. This visit is part of ongoing efforts to monitor the implementation of major national projects like New Alamein City, which stands as a model for sustainable urban development.
