Housing Officials Inspect “Housing for All Egyptians” Apartments in New October City

Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Maqsoud, Head of the New October City Development Authority, welcomed the Technical Support Unit members from the Ministry of Housing. During the meeting, he presented an overview of the initiative’s progress, highlighting the construction of 90,000 housing units in the West Airport area. He emphasized adherence to technical standards to ensure the project’s quality and provide an integrated residential environment. Additionally, Engineer Mahmoud Murad, Deputy Head of the Authority, conducted a field tour to inspect the buildings of the sixth phase, reviewing façade details and finishing conditions.

The tour also included visiting the fifth-phase projects, which feature green spaces, jogging and cycling tracks, and seating areas. These amenities improve residents’ quality of life and reflect the state’s commitment to modern urban communities. Furthermore, with a monthly performance-based reward system, the New October City Authority announced the availability of 10 new job vacancies for highly qualified individuals across various fields.

Job Requirements:

  • Open to experienced professionals and fresh graduates.
  • Preference is given to applicants residing in New October City or nearby areas.
  • Accountants must be proficient in computer software and customer service programs.
  • Engineers must have expertise in AutoCAD and other engineering software.

Required Documents:

  1. Original birth certificate.
  2. A copy of a valid national ID card (original must be presented for verification) is required.
  3. Original or certified copy of the academic degree.
  4. Six personal photos.

Applications and the required documents must be submitted to the Administrative Affairs Department at the Authority’s headquarters by Monday, February 17, 2025.

Minister of Housing Visits Equatorial Guinea

During his visit to the Guinean capital, Malabo, to discuss areas of cooperation, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, inspected a water treatment plant project implemented by the Egyptian comp Madko” r. He was accompanied by Clemente Ferrero Villarino, EquatoriaGuinea’s Minister of State for Public Works and Urban Planning.

The minister received a briefing from company officials, who explained that the plant’s total production capacity is 1,500 cubic meters per day, and the construction timeline is six months.

Expressing his satisfaction with the expansion of Egyptian companies’ activities in Africa, the minister emphasized the government’s ongoing support for such initiatives, strengthening relationships with African nations.
