Engineer Ahmed Abdel Gaber, Head of the New Beni Suef City Authority, and Engineer Alaa Mohamed Nassim met with officials from the Middle Egypt Electricity Company to discuss the provision of electrical capacities for the southeastern expansion area, which spans 3,300 feddans. This meeting comes in line with the directives of the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El Sherbiny, to support national projects and facilitate development in new cities.
During the meeting, they discussed the status of the power supply for the expansion distributor currently under design at the Beni Suef transformer station, the implementation of which has been postponed. It was agreed that the city authority would submit a five-year load schedule. The discussions also included other electricity-related projects in the area.
Engineer Ahmed Abdel Gaber clarified that the meeting aimed to improve the services provided to citizens in the city and to overcome obstacles that hinder development efforts. The meeting was attended by Engineer Ahmed Namour, Deputy Head of the New Beni Suef City Authority, Engineer Magdy Farag, the city’s electricity department managers, and officials from the electricity company.
