Engineer Ahmed Omran, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of projects in the tourist villages, accompanied by a number of officials. The tour comes as part of directives from the Minister of Housing, emphasizing the importance of continuous supervision of ongoing works and ensuring the provision of necessary services for residents. During the tour, officials reviewed construction activities, site coordination, and efforts to enhance the green areas and public squares in Marina 8.
The head of the authority announced that the Marina 8 project includes 243 buildings (villas, chalets, and residential buildings) comprising a total of 917 units. The construction progress for the residential buildings has reached approximately 50%, while infrastructure works stand at around 20%. Housing officials stressed the importance of adhering to the required standards and quality, urging companies to overcome any obstacles to ensure the project is completed within the designated timeline.
The tour also involved reviewing the progress of entrance development, the expansion of Bridge 3 and Road 22, as well as upgrades to lighting poles. Officials reiterated the need to maintain high quality and compliance with specifications according to the project schedule, aiming to improve the quality of life for residents in tourist villages. Housing officials were also instructed to focus on the quality of designs and finishes, while closely monitoring progress in building works, façades, landscaping, and the development of essential utilities such as roads, water, sewage, and electricity.
