The Ministry of Housing has announced the delivery schedule for the “Sakan Misr” apartments in New Damietta City for winners of the February 10, 2025 lottery. Apartment handovers will begin on June 15, 2025, with contract procedures to be completed beforehand.
Steps to Receive Sakan Misr Apartments 2025:
1. Contract Procedures at the Bank:

Pay the handover deposit (10% of the unit value).

Sign the purchase contract.

Pay the maintenance deposit (5% of the unit value).

Submit a copy of the national ID card of both the buyer and the spouse.

Receive an official letter addressed to the city authority.
2. Proceed to the Technology Center:

Submit the bank letter, a copy of the national ID card, and the maintenance deposit receipt.

Pay the following fees:
• Water meter installation: EGP 4,100
• Electricity meter connection: EGP 164
• Contract registration fee: 1% of the apartment value (maximum EGP 2,000)
• Gas connection: EGP 3,200
• First-year maintenance: 1% of the total unit value -
Receive a letter addressed to the head of the handover committee.
3. On-Site Procedures:

Inspect the unit and receive it after signing the handover report.
4. Follow-Up at the Technology Center:

Obtain the handover report and official letters addressed to utility companies (water, gas, electricity).
In Case of Handover via Power of Attorney:
The power of attorney must specifically authorize unit handover and utility procedures. The original document and a recent validity certificate must be provided.
