He also decided to remove land encroachments along the Alexandria-Matrouh road, emphasizing the ministry’s continued efforts to combat violations. Meanwhile, Engineer Sherif Abdel-Badie, Head of the New Sohag City Development Authority, reported that 13 commercial units and 64 land plots were reclaimed due to non-payment of installments or failure to prove development seriousness by existing regulations.
Engineer Marwa Hussein, Head of the Sheikh Zayed City Authority, announced a comprehensive campaign to address illegal commercial activities in cooperation with the Construction Police. This campaign resulted in the enforcement of 10 closure and sealing orders for commercial shops and 3 for residential units, along with removing illegal street occupations and encroachments. Similarly, Engineer Alaa Abdallah, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, revealed an extensive campaign targeting illegal street occupations. The campaign led to 98 closures and removal orders in various neighborhoods, focusing on clearing violations from main roads and public squares.
Engineer Ali Saad, Head of the 15th of May City Authority, confirmed the execution of a large-scale campaign to shut down non-compliant establishments in collaboration with the Construction Police. As a result, eight establishments were closed, and construction violations were halted, including detecting an unauthorized basement garage. In a related effort, Engineer Yasser Abdullah, Head of the New Assiut City Authority, launched a campaign to remove building violations in the northern university area, implementing immediate demolitions and addressing illegal street vendors. Additionally, an inspection tour was conducted for commercial shops.
The heads of these city authorities emphasized the importance of intensifying daily campaigns to combat violations and taking the necessary legal measures to maintain order and enforce regulations.
