The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has announced that New Alamein City is ready to host the Mediterranean Investment Gateway Forum, scheduled to begin on August 22, in cooperation with TH Group and Counsel Masters.
The ten-day forum will feature prominent participation from senior officials, as well as representatives of real estate and investment companies from Egypt and the Arab world.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny explained that the event aims to support the Housing Ministry’s efforts to export Egyptian real estate and attract investments to the new cities—particularly amid the accelerating activity in the real estate sector, driven by the state’s vision to develop fourth-generation cities and boost investment in coastal destinations.
He added that the forum reflects the state’s orientation towards attracting foreign investments and turning Egyptian real estate into a sustainable source of foreign currency. The event’s agenda will cover key themes including sustainable urban development, public-private partnerships, activation of real estate tourism, and the use of artificial intelligence and digital marketing to enhance property promotion.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny noted that New Alamein City is a distinctive model embodying the concept of future cities, with strong capabilities to attract investments and achieve comprehensive development. He pointed out that the state is working to create an integrated investment environment through large-scale infrastructure projects and regulatory and legislative facilitation, aimed at reinforcing investor confidence and encouraging robust entry into the Egyptian market.
Meanwhile, Engineer Khaled Sorour, Assistant Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for the Development and Construction Sector, stated that the Mediterranean Investment Gateway Forum falls within the Housing Ministry’s vision for investment and job creation. The forum focuses on promoting investment opportunities in new cities. He affirmed that New Alamein City boasts a strategic location and world-class service foundations, making it one of the most promising investment destinations.
The forum will conclude with an artistic evening featuring renowned singer Medhat Saleh, attended by high-profile figures, officials, and investors. The closing ceremony will also honor a selection of pioneering real estate projects and announce new initiatives aimed at promoting Egyptian real estate in international markets. These efforts contribute to strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional hub for investment in the real estate, tourism, and trade sectors, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
