Engineer Amr Khattab, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, confirmed that the housing units allocated to low-income citizens constituted the largest portion of the project, with a total of 110,000 units delivered.
He explained that the ministry continues to implement the second phase of the initiative, which launched today and includes 25,012 units distributed across 18 new cities covering various governorates nationwide.

Khattab pointed out that all units have been fully equipped, including finishing works, utilities, and services, as part of the state’s efforts to provide safe and adequate housing for every citizen, in line with Egypt’s vision for achieving sustainable urban development.
The ministry’s spokesperson added that implementation directives began last April through the launch of four successive phases comprising more than 200,000 diverse housing units.
These phases were carefully designed to cater to different segments of society, within the framework of diverse and middle-income housing projects.
