Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing Fund, has announced the details of the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” initiative. Seven hundred sixty-two thousand application booklets have been sold, with 589,000 citizens paying the required booking deposit. Meanwhile, 571,000 applicants have submitted the necessary documents.
During the contract handover event for housing units on the 10th of Ramadan City, 561,000 applications were reviewed, representing 98.2% of the submitted files. Applicants will receive messages on March 18, 2025, informing them of the screening results, with an appeal process available for rejected applications. Abdel Hamid emphasized that this initiative has seen the highest number of applicants since the program’s inception, reflecting strong public trust.
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly personally handed over housing unit contracts as part of the presidential initiative aimed at low- and middle-income citizens. The event occurred in the 10th of Ramadan City, where thousands of residential units are being built to accommodate different income groups. Housing Minister Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny highlighted that service buildings are being constructed alongside housing units to ensure immediate access to essential services. He also noted the high demand from citizens eager to reserve and reside in the city, which is considered Egypt’s leading industrial hub.
