Under the directives of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny to speed up the implementation of service projects in new cities, Engineer Mohamed Abdel-Maksoud, Head of the New October City Authority, announced the completion of façade upgrades for the city’s police complex. The complex includes a police station, a civil registry office, and a civil defense building, in preparation for its operation.
Abdel-Maksoud also noted that a health delegation visited the health unit building in the West Airport area to ensure it is ready to begin operations soon. He pointed out that 25 service buildings are being constructed in West Airport, including schools, markets, nurseries, health units, and an ambulance point, at a total cost of EGP 1 billion, to meet residents’ needs.
Engineer Mahmoud Murad, Deputy Head of the Authority, inspected the social club project in Sector (A), which includes sports fields, two swimming pools, a shopping center, and a mosque, with an implementation rate of 92%. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August. The tour also covered schools, commercial markets, and a health unit in the West Airport area in preparation for service launch soon.
