Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, announced that the second phase of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 7” has seen significant and growing interest. So far, 60,408 citizens have purchased the terms and conditions booklets.
The Ministry of Housing, represented by the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Support Fund, has launched the second offering of residential units under the initiative, which includes a total of 113,000 housing units. This phase includes apartments available to applicants who are not on the priority list, as well as new units for first-time applicants.
“Housing for All Egyptians 5” Units Outside the Priority List
This offering includes 34,133 under-construction units, scheduled for delivery within 36 months, in various cities such as New Aswan, New Beni Suef, Hadayek Al-Asimah (Capital Gardens), 10th of Ramadan, and New Sohag. A 90-square-meter apartment is priced at EGP 850,000, with a reservation deposit of EGP 50,000 and gradually increasing quarterly installments. Additionally, 690 ready-to-move-in units are available in New Akhmim at a price of EGP 470,000.
Green Housing Units
The initiative also offers 54,792 “Green Housing” units, fully finished and available in cities such as New Aswan, New October, Badr, and New Minya. These units are set for delivery within 36 months. A 90-square-meter apartment costs EGP 900,000, with increasing quarterly payment plans. Registration is open from July 28 to August 28, 2025.
