Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the date of the eleventh public lottery for allocating housing to citizens who have paid deposits for certain land categories in the Al-Rabiya area of El-Shorouk City. The draw is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the headquarters of the El-Shorouk City Authority.
The Minister stressed the importance of continuing current efforts to regularize the status of citizens and institutions located on lands annexed to new cities, with a focus on strategic planning for land use. The goal, he explained, is to provide fully integrated urban communities that meet residents’ needs and keep pace with urban expansion.

In this context, Engineer Bassam Mohamed, Head of the El-Shorouk City Development Authority, clarified that the manual public lottery will include clients who have paid deposits for allocated lands within the various regulated area sizes (209 m² – 276 m² – 400 m² – 500 m² – 600 m² – 700 m²) in the Al-Rabiya area.
He added that attendance is required starting at 10:00 a.m. on the scheduled date, during which client registration will take place. Registration will close at 12:00 noon, after which the lottery will begin. Entry will only be permitted to individuals carrying valid personal identification and the original receipt of the required deposit payment.
