In his address, Minister El-Sherbiny emphasized the ministry’s unwavering support for localizing industries related to water and wastewater utilities as well as the construction and building sectors. He highlighted the ministry’s collaboration with relevant stakeholders to meet the local market’s demands, particularly for projects under the presidential initiative “Decent Life” aimed at developing Egypt’s rural areas.
The minister reaffirmed the commitment to advancing national industries in alignment with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to promote local manufacturing, adopt modern technologies, and boost the national economy. He noted that the New Urban Communities Authority actively facilitates industrial zones within new cities, particularly Fourth-Generation Cities, by providing the necessary infrastructure and support for local industries.
The forum serves as a platform for fostering industrial development, showcasing innovations, and strengthening partnerships to further Egypt’s economic growth and industrial self-reliance.
