Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, followed up on the progress of projects aimed at developing and upgrading roads and utilities in the industrial zones of 10th of Ramadan City, covering an area of 2,560 feddans. These projects fall within the framework of efforts to provide investment-attractive infrastructure and support the industrial and production sectors.
The minister directed the need to accelerate the pace of ongoing works while ensuring continuous on-site supervision to resolve any obstacles that might hinder implementation and to guarantee compliance with technical specifications and designated timelines.
For his part, Engineer Alaa Abdallah, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, stated that the water networks in the development areas extend for 79,790 meters, while sewage networks reach 14,410 meters, and road networks cover 962,000 meters. Current development works include paving, upgrading asphalt networks, and replacing and renewing utility infrastructure across four industrial zones.
Engineer Alaa Abdallah and authority officials conducted an inspection tour to follow up on the development and upgrading works of the infrastructure in industrial zones A1, A2, and A3. He confirmed that the development plan includes the full rehabilitation of foundation layers before laying the binding layer and then the final asphalt surface, with the aim of achieving the highest quality standards and ensuring durability under heavy transport and shipping loads in the industrial areas.
He added that the implementation of these works follows a set timeline and adheres to high technical standards, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and the Urban Communities Authority, as part of the state’s comprehensive strategy to develop industrial cities and create a favorable environment for investment.
