Housing Minister Orders Removal of Illegal Encroachments on 119.46 Acres in New Fashn and New Beni Mazar Cities

Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued two decrees to remove illegal encroachments on a total area of 119.46 acres in the cities of New Fashn and New Beni Mazar. These lands are owned by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

The first decree targets encroachments on 30 acres in New Fashn, where unauthorized agricultural activities have taken place, along with the construction of a worker’s rest house. Similarly, in New Beni Mazar, encroachments cover 89.46 acres and include agricultural activities, unauthorized buildings, a solar power station, two rooms, a pond, and two groundwater wells, all established without legal authorization.

The decrees stipulate that the New Fashn and New Beni Mazar city authorities, in cooperation with the construction police and relevant local authorities, will oversee the removal of these illegal activities.
