Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with a representative of Estadat Sports Investment Company to explore potential areas of joint cooperation. This meeting comes in line with the protocol signed between the Ministry—represented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA)—and the company. The protocol aims to manage and operate recreational facilities, swimming pool areas, and their associated amenities within residential complexes in several new cities. The meeting was also attended by several officials from the Ministry of Housing and NUCA.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbini affirmed that the vision of the Ministry of Housing is centered on providing high-quality recreational services for residents of the new urban residential communities. The Ministry is committed to preserving the recreational facilities and the investments made in them, as well as maintaining the aesthetic and architectural character of these cities, all of which contribute to enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
During the meeting, the Minister was briefed on a detailed presentation outlining the areas of cooperation in managing recreational facilities in six new cities, including two cities that will be operational soon. Additionally, several proposals were discussed to expand the range of services provided to residents in new urban areas and to maximize the use of vacant land.
