Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform team to discuss the latest developments related to the platform’s preparations for launching the ministry’s housing projects, as well as to follow up on the implementation of the Egyptian Real Estate Export Platform and the Unified National Real Estate ID System. The meeting was attended by several officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister emphasized that the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform represents a strategic step within the ministry’s efforts to enhance digital transformation in line with Egypt’s national vision. The platform aims to provide high-quality electronic services that serve citizens and investors comprehensively. He announced the ministry’s readiness to launch the second phase of its largest housing project in October, through the platform, which will include around 400,000 residential units, as part of the implementation of directives from the political leadership.
The minister also reviewed the ministry’s efforts in registering and marketing Egyptian real estate internationally with the goal of exporting it. He explained that this process requires a clear strategy that identifies target markets, provides an accurate database of available units, and classifies them within a unified electronic system. He added that these steps come in response to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to encourage innovative solutions that boost investment.

During the meeting, discussions covered the status of the housing units currently listed on the platform and the steps related to announcing the new phase, including booking procedures that citizens can easily complete through the platform. Progress on the implementation of the Unified National Real Estate ID System was also reviewed, in line with the ministry’s goals for managing this vital sector.
The meeting also addressed the steps related to the Egyptian Real Estate Export Platform, where the preliminary design and future capabilities of the platform were presented. Emphasis was placed on developing an integrated infrastructure that supports multiple languages, currencies, and money transfer systems to facilitate international transactions.
The Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform is considered one of the most prominent platforms specializing in the Egyptian real estate market, offering an up-to-date and accurate database that enables citizens and investors to access reliable real estate information easily. The platform aims to support the local market while opening new horizons that connect Egypt to multiple global markets through electronic services that add real value to the real estate sector.
