Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced a wide-scale movement of transfers and appointments that included 31 deputy heads of new city authorities. The step aims to empower youth, refresh leadership roles, and meet the demands of current projects and operational requirements.
The assignments were made as follows: Engineer Amal Bishay was transferred to Hadayek October, Engineer Ahmed Abdel-Halim to New Cairo, while Sherif Darraj and other financial officials were appointed to new positions in financial affairs in Alamein and 6th of October.

Engineers such as Mohamed Zayan, Mohamed Hanafy, Hend Mostafa, and Ahmed Tammam assumed similar leadership responsibilities in several cities including 6th of October, Alamein, and 15th of May.
The decisions also included promoting a number of engineers and assistants, most notably Engineers Rizk Mostafa and Rania Hafez in New October, Wessam Salah and Ahmed El-Sayyed in Hadayek October and the Tourist Villages sector. New cadres were also appointed in 10th of Ramadan City, Borg El Arab, and Sphinx City.
The movement further involved appointing engineers as deputy heads of the cities of Qena, Fayoum, New Mansoura, and Minya, along with transferring others to support ongoing work in Warraq Island and several coastal and Upper Egypt cities.
