Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held his regular meeting last night with a number of parliamentarians from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The meeting aimed to discuss the demands of their electoral constituencies and was attended by officials from the Ministry and its affiliated executive bodies.
At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny welcomed the MPs, stressing the importance of joint efforts among all state institutions. He emphasized the need for continuous communication and integration between the executive and legislative branches to serve the interests of the nation and its citizens. He also reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining regular contact with parliamentarians to listen to their constituency demands and work toward resolving them.
The MPs’ requests covered issues related to housing projects, drinking water, and sanitation, in addition to other areas within the scope of the Ministry of Housing across several governorates and new cities.
Members of both parliamentary chambers expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny for his prompt directives to the Ministry’s team and its affiliates to follow up on projects directly and on the ground. They praised the efforts to accelerate work progress and enhance coordination and cooperation to meet citizens’ needs.
