Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting to follow up on the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative for Egyptians abroad after the conclusion of its first phase, along with the “Beit El Watan” initiative. He emphasized the political leadership’s strong interest in meeting the needs of Egyptians living abroad and in providing them with a range of incentives. These initiatives aim to offer residential units in new cities such as New Alamein, the New Administrative Capital, and New Mansoura.
The Minister confirmed that a dedicated website has been launched to offer and reserve units under the initiative. He reiterated his commitment to meeting the diverse housing needs of Egyptians abroad by offering units that cater to various income levels of Egyptian expatriate communities. He also highlighted the inclusion of incentives and special advantages within the initiative to ensure maximum benefit for Egyptians living overseas. Coordination is currently underway to launch the second phase of the initiative.
The meeting also addressed the current status of the “Beit El Watan” land offerings for Egyptians abroad, including a review of a detailed report on the number of land plots sold and the progress of infrastructure works on the offered lands.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny directed that there must be continuous communication and prompt responses to any inquiries from Egyptians abroad regarding the two initiatives. He stressed the importance of overcoming any challenges they may face and working to make the process as smooth and accessible as possible.
