Engineer Sherif El-Sharbiney, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting yesterday evening with a group of companies involved in the Mazarin Compound project in New Alamein City to monitor the progress of the project. Also attending the meeting were officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the New Alamein City Development Authority.
At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sharbiney emphasized the importance of continuous communication with all the companies implementing projects overseen by the Ministry of Housing, aiming to monitor the workflow and overcome any challenges that might hinder the immediate implementation. He pointed out that the Mazarin residential project is one of the prominent developments in New Alamein City, spanning nearly 700 acres on the southern shore of Lake Alamein, with views of the beach towers. The project includes a variety of villas, chalets, apartment buildings, and commercial units.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the current status of the project’s components and the units, in preparation for handing them over to the buyers. He stressed the need to adhere to the timeline for delivering the remaining units and urged the acceleration of work to meet the goals. Engineer Sherif El-Sharbiney also tasked the team with creating a work plan for regular follow-ups and communication with the companies to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any challenges.
