Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing and Utilities, continued his inspection tour by visiting the Mazarine Compound and the Latin District in New Alamein City. He was accompanied by ministry officials and the head of the city authority. The Mazarine project includes 7,956 diverse residential units spread over an area of 707 feddans, located along the southern shore of the Alamein Lakes. The Minister directed officials to pay close attention to landscape coordination and maintenance of the green spaces.
The Minister also monitored the progress of work in the Latin District, where he instructed that site landscaping be completed and all construction debris removed. The project spans 398.79 feddans and consists of 6 zones and 65 residential complexes, comprising a total of 10,597 units. In addition, the Minister inspected the Alexandria–Matrouh International Coastal Road, stressing the importance of landscaping, planting, cleanliness, and regular maintenance of lighting and informational signage.
