Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, along with Major General Tarek Hamed El-Shazly, Governor of Suez, conducted an inspection visit to the Sokhna El-Nada Water Pumping Station project. This project aims to supply water to Salam City 1 and 2. The visit was also attended by several officials from the Ministry of Housing, the Suez Governorate, the New Urban Communities Authority, the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, and the National Organization for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage.
During the tour, the Minister inspected the various components of the project, including the pump building and distribution panels, and listened to a detailed presentation on its specifications. Major General Amin Shouky, Head of the National Organization for Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage, explained that the station includes administration buildings, pump facilities, and security units, and operates with a capacity of up to 26,000 cubic meters per day.
At the conclusion of the tour, the Minister of Housing stressed the importance of completing all remaining works of the Sokhna El-Nada Water Pumping Station to fully achieve the intended objectives.
