Housing for All Egyptians 5: Social Housing Applications Now Open

The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has officially launched applications for the Housing for All Egyptians 5 initiative, offering new social housing units. The ministry recently released the terms and conditions booklets across multiple governorates, and citizens are eager to know the final deadline to apply.

Deadline for Applications

The last date to purchase and submit the application booklets for the 2024 social housing apartments is Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Applicants can obtain the booklets from approximately 400 designated post offices in cities where the units are available.

The booklet is priced at 300 EGP, with an additional 355 EGP for administrative fees, payable at the specified automated post offices.

Housing Unit Availability

  1. Immediate Delivery: Units ready for immediate handover will be available to applicants after completing all formalities.
  2. Under Construction: For units under construction, the delivery period is within 36 months from the closing date of applications.

Locations of Designated Post Offices

The booklet is available at post offices in major cities, including Cairo, Giza, and surrounding areas. Key offices include:

  • Cairo: Ramses, Nasr City, Ain Shams, and Zamalek.
  • Giza: Al-Haram, Sheikh Zayed, and October University.

How to Apply

Applicants must follow these steps to secure a unit:

  1. Visit the official housing application website: cservices.shmff.gov.eg.
  2. Register with valid personal information and upload a copy of a valid national ID card.
  3. Choose the desired floor and complete the application form.
  4. Pay the required fees and submit the application online.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the social housing program, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. Nationality and Age: Egyptian citizens aged 21 or older are eligible. Applications from companies or institutions are not accepted.
