In line with the directives of Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasizing the need to confront all forms of violations and protect the civilized appearance of new cities, as well as limit any informal practices or encroachments on state-owned land.
Based on the instructions of Eng. Abdullah, Head of the 6th of October City Development Authority, the deputy officials were assigned their responsibilities to follow up demolition campaigns and control encroachments both morning and evening, with immediate action taken against violations as soon as they appear.
The Media Department of the City Authority issued its weekly report highlighting its efforts in implementing removal decisions, deterring violators, and issuing closure and sealing orders while reclaiming land.

Among these efforts was the execution of several immediate removals of illegal construction works, most notably:

Removal of an illegal additional rooftop floor at plot 1634 in the First District, Eighth Neighborhood.

Removal of unlawful expansions on the rooftop of plot No. 67 in the Authority Villas area in the Fifth District.

Halting demolition works using heavy equipment in West Somid, Villa 2, Block 5, Neighborhood 3.

Removal of encroachments on rooftop room space at plot No. 4 inside Grand City Compound.

Removal of illegal side construction on plot 1457 in the Second District, Sixth Neighborhood.

Removal of unauthorized rooftop expansions at plots 553 and 555 in the Third District, Third Neighborhood.

Complete removal of illegal buildings at plot 516 in the Third District, Third Neighborhood.
The Head of the Authority confirmed that daily campaigns to remove encroachments and violations, and to implement closure and sealing decisions, are ongoing. The efforts resulted in:

Executing 26 closure and sealing decisions at Al-Fayrouz Center Complex in the Third District.

Removal of encroachments and obstructions along the Central Axes Road and in areas surrounding Al-Hosary Squares.

Removal of an unlicensed kiosk inside the industrial zone.

Seizure of three pickup trucks and seven tricycles used for sorting.

Seizure of 13 tuk-tuks and five mobile beverage cars (espresso carts).
The Head of the Authority stressed the continuation of intensive campaigns in all sectors of the city, both morning and evening, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority to preserve the city’s urban and aesthetic character.
Eng. Mohamed Abdullah explained that the campaigns were led by an outstanding team headed by Eng. Hossam Hosny, Eng. Radi Khalil, and Eng. Yasser Abdel-Baqi, supported by the Administrative Security under the leadership of Brig. Ahmed Fawzy and neighborhood chiefs, and in coordination with Brig. Mohamed Bahgat, Head of the Urban Police Department, Lt. Col. Mostafa Abed, Head of Urban Investigations, and Col. Sherif El-Taweel, Head of the Facilities Police Department.
