Eng. Ahmed Rashad, Head of the Obour City Development Authority, carried out an inspection tour to follow up on the ongoing development and maintenance of roads, green spaces, and the implementation of a new hospital project. His tour began with a visit to the “Dar Misr” housing project to inspect cleaning and beautification efforts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the city’s aesthetic appeal. The tour also included a follow-up on the condition of roads and green areas in various neighborhoods, where he stressed the need to intensify maintenance work to preserve the city’s civilized character.
The head of the authority inspected the development and maintenance work of roads and sidewalks in several districts. He monitored the application of asphalt layers in front of Block No. (17080) in the Third District as part of a project to improve roads and pathways in Zones 1, 2, and 5. He also inspected the road development works in the Industrial Zone (A) as well as the northern and western extensions, stressing the importance of adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
In addition, Eng. Rashad conducted a field tour to follow up on the construction of the new hospital located in Line 10, accompanied by Eng. Alaa Hammad and officials from the executive departments. The tour covered site coordination, industrial construction, curb and interlock pavement installation, and the laying of the sub-base layer for roads surrounding the hospital.
The Head of the Authority underscored the importance of adhering to high quality and efficiency standards within the specified schedules. Eng. Ahmed Rashad reaffirmed that the Authority gives special attention to healthcare projects as part of its mission to enhance the quality of life in the city.
