Dr. Ahmed Ismail Jabr, Head of the New Obour City Authority, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on social housing projects in District 14. During his visit, he reviewed the progress of interior and exterior finishing works. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timelines to ensure the timely delivery of housing units to eligible beneficiaries. This tour aligns with the directives of the political leadership to accelerate the implementation of national projects and is supervised by the Minister of Housing, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbini will monitor developments in new cities.
The Head of the Authority also reviewed the progress of road development, green spaces, and parks in District 15, which comprises 705 buildings with 16,920 housing units, and District 16, which includes 433 buildings with 10,392 housing units. He stressed the importance of meeting the scheduled deadlines to guarantee the timely handover of residential units to their rightful recipients.
Additionally, he monitored the infrastructure, leveling, and landscaping works for the road separating Districts 15 and 16. These efforts aim to enhance infrastructure and provide a well-integrated residential environment that meets residents’ needs.
The Head of the Authority emphasized the necessity of implementing these projects according to the highest quality standards and within the designated timelines.
