Eng. Abdel Raouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Development Authority, conducted a field tour accompanied by his deputy, Eng. Tamer Gabr, to inspect key housing and road projects across the city. The visit comes within the framework of monitoring the progress of vital residential and service projects.
El-Ghaity began the tour by inspecting the construction of the first eco-friendly residential building in the Gardenia district of the Third Settlement, located along Mohamed Naguib Axis. This project is part of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians.” It is based on sustainable materials and eco-conscious solutions aimed at reducing emissions, conserving resources, and reusing greywater to irrigate green spaces.
He also visited the “Diarna” residential project, which targets middle-income households. The development consists of 34 buildings with apartment sizes ranging from 104 to 154 square meters. The units come fully finished and are offered with flexible payment options.
The tour concluded with a follow-up on the road development leading to the “JANNA” project, which aims to improve infrastructure and ease traffic flow in line with the comprehensive development plan for new cities. El-Ghaity emphasized that execution is being closely monitored daily to ensure compliance with timelines and technical standards.
