Engineer Ashraf El-Samaligy, Head of the East Port Said City Authority and Supervisor of the West Port Said City Authority, announced the launch of the new technology center in the city as part of the Authority’s efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to citizens and full adherence to procedures from the start of its operation.
El-Samaligy carried out an inspection tour of the center’s departments to review mechanisms for receiving applications and completing transactions, while also listening to citizens’ opinions and feedback regarding the new service experience.
He emphasized that the establishment of the technology center represents an important step in improving the delivery of government services, as it contributes to expediting procedures, enhancing accuracy in operations, and reducing reliance on paper—aligning with the state’s vision for digital transformation.

The engineer also inspected the social housing projects in the city, reviewing progress on ongoing works that include the implementation of green spaces and site coordination across different areas. He stressed the importance of adhering to timelines and quality standards, while following approved designs to achieve a cohesive aesthetic that reflects the city’s image and enhances residents’ quality of life.
He added that there is a comprehensive plan to improve performance and raise the efficiency of services in both East and West Port Said. He further explained that the Authority will continue to regularly monitor project implementation and address any challenges in order to ensure citizen satisfaction and maintain the highest standards of service quality.
