Head of Badr City Authority Inspects City Entrance Development and Premium Housing Project

Eng. El-Sayed Ibrahim Amin, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, conducted an inspection tour at the city’s entrance on the Cairo/Suez Road, accompanied by officials from the authority. The tour aimed to monitor ongoing development, beautification, and cleanliness efforts along the city’s main roads as part of a broader initiative to enhance services and improve the urban environment. These efforts come in line with directives from Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, who emphasized the need for continuous monitoring of ongoing projects in new cities.

During the tour, the Head of the Authority highlighted the importance of intensifying regular maintenance of green spaces and increasing afforestation to align with the city’s overall aesthetic improvement plan. He also inspected the units of the Premium Housing Project, which comprises 44 buildings. He stressed the importance of following up on landscaping works, internal road development, and plantation efforts. In this context, he reaffirmed the necessity of adhering to project timelines and maintaining high execution standards to deliver housing units that meet the needs of Egyptian citizens.

He further emphasized the need to complete site coordination and landscaping work in parallel with the finalization of utilities, ensuring the project is delivered in a civilized and integrated manner. He also called on the executing companies to closely monitor daily progress and immediately address any issues or observations to uphold the highest quality standards.

In a related context, Eng. El-Sayed Ibrahim Amin reported that a campaign was conducted in coordination with the Reconstruction Police targeting Plot No. 63 in Neighborhood 7 of the Distinguished District. The campaign followed the detection of an attempt to alter the residential use of a basement. The action resulted in halting the illegal work, enforcing the necessary legal procedures against the violator, and restoring the property to its original state by removing unauthorized encroachments.

Amin stressed the importance of citizens’ compliance with construction laws and regulations within the city, aiming to achieve the desired urban development and limit random practices that negatively affect the city’s character.
