Major General Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, has issued a decision assigning the Undersecretary of the Housing Directorate in the governorate to chair the Supreme Committee for Reviewing and Resuming Construction Activities.
The governor indicated that the committee will review citizens’ applications to resume construction works, with full adherence to the legal regulations and approved technical standards. This move aims to accelerate procedures and facilitate the issuance of necessary permits, thereby reducing the burden of delays on citizens.

The Sohag governor stressed the need for the committee to operate efficiently and transparently in a way that serves the public interest and safeguards the rights of both citizens and the state.
He also called on all citizens wishing to resume construction activities to submit their applications to the committee following its reformation, to ensure swift processing and decisions by the approved standards and regulations.
