As part of the Egyptian government’s ongoing efforts to provide suitable housing for all social segments, the Urban Development Fund—affiliated with the Cabinet—has announced the launch of a new phase of the “Oasis View” compound project located in Nasr City, Cairo. This initiative is part of the broader “Dara” housing projects.
According to the Fund, the project spans 40 feddans and includes 54 residential buildings, each consisting of a ground floor and 11 repeated floors, with a total of 2,528 fully finished residential units ready for occupancy.
The service area of the project includes 76 commercial units with sizes ranging from 120 to 370 square meters, along with 6 sports courts, a mosque, a nursery, a health club, and ample green spaces. The compound also features 6 surface-level parking zones in addition to a basement with two garage levels to ensure smooth mobility for residents and visitors.
The Fund stated that unit reservations begin with a 10% down payment of the total price, with the remaining amount payable over five years in installments. All apartments will be delivered fully finished to provide additional convenience for buyers.
In a related announcement, the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority, revealed the offering of several commercial and service units for sale via public auction in various cities. In the city of 10th of Ramadan, this includes 26 commercial stores and two pharmacies ranging in size from 32 to 99 square meters, located within the commercial markets of the 14th district.
The first auction session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, for the sale of 13 commercial units and one pharmacy. The second session will take place on Tuesday, September 9, for the sale of the remaining units.
