Engineer Mohamed Abdel Maqsoud, Head of the New 6th of October City Development Authority, welcomed a delegation from the Technical Support Unit at the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority for an inspection visit to the “Diarna” residential project currently under development in the city.
The delegation included Engineer Mostafa Bakir from the Technical Support Unit under the supervision of Dr. Engineer Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs; Engineer Heba Fawzy from the Central Construction Administration; and Engineer Osama Abdel Salam from the Utilities Sector. Also joining the visit were directors of execution departments from the cities of Sadat, New Obour, Capital Gardens, New Cairo, October Gardens, Borg El Arab, Badr, and 10th of Ramadan.
During the meeting, the Head of the Authority reviewed the project’s progress, highlighting that the city is undergoing a major urban development boom. Approximately 105,000 residential units are currently being implemented in the city, in addition to 494 units within the “Diarna” project, all carried out with strict adherence to the highest technical quality standards.
Engineer Mahmoud Mourad, Deputy Head of the Authority, accompanied the delegation on a field tour to inspect the progress of the concrete structures, review the interior and exterior design work and finishes, and monitor the formation and color schemes of the building façades.
