The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, has issued four ministerial decrees introducing a new wave of appointments and leadership transfers within the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) and several city administrations. The move aims to enhance administrative performance, empower leadership talent, and align organizational structures with the current operational needs.
The first decision assigns Dr. Engineer Walid Abbas Abdel Qawy, the First Vice President of NUCA, to serve as Assistant Minister of Housing for Authority Affairs and the Tourism Development Authority for a one-year term, while continuing his current duties.
The second decision appoints Dr. Ahmed Reda Aliwa Emara, the General Manager of Contracts and Dispute Settlement at the Authority and an advisor in the Minister’s Office, as Assistant Vice President of NUCA for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs, in addition to any other responsibilities assigned to him.

The third decision designates Engineer Mohamed Mostafa Ahmed Morsi, Head of the 6th of October City Authority, as Assistant Vice President of NUCA for Planning and Projects. This role focuses on supporting the authority in monitoring the implementation of development strategies and key national projects.
The fourth decision involves a series of leadership transfers among city authority heads.

Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim Hassan Hassan, previously Head of Sadat City Authority, has been transferred to become Head of Hadayek October City Authority.

Engineer Mohamed Adel Anwar Mohamed El-Sayed, Deputy Head of New Alamein City Authority, has been appointed Head of Sadat City Authority.

Engineer Ahmed Hassan Mohamed Kassem, formerly Deputy Head of New Alamein City Authority, has been assigned the role of Head of the First Sector Authority in the Northwestern Coast.

Additionally, Engineer Mostafa Sayed Ahmed Mohamed, Assistant Head of Hadayek October City Authority, has been promoted to Deputy Head of the Authority.
