Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, followed up on the progress of new housing projects in the cities of Obour, Badr, Hadayek Al-Asimah, and New Assiut. These projects include residential units for low- and middle-income citizens under the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative, premium housing, and the Zahret Al-Asimah project. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the specified timelines and maintaining high-quality implementation. He also highlighted the need to develop service projects alongside the construction of residential units and to expedite the connection of utilities. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of regular project monitoring by officials to ensure that objectives are met according to the planned schedules.
Dr. Engineer Ahmed Ismail Gabr, Head of the New Obour City Authority, conducted an inspection tour in the 13th district, which includes 180 buildings and 3,924 residential units, as part of the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative. During the visit, he reviewed the progress rates and emphasized the need to accelerate project completion. Similarly, Engineer Mohamed Abdelaziz Amer, Head of the Badr City Authority, toured the premium housing project in the 6th district and the third phase of the Zahret Al-Asimah project.
Engineer Ammar Mandour pointed out that some roads in the fifth phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians – Low-Income Segment” project are nearing completion, along with the completion of parking spaces between buildings. Additionally, the city’s agricultural department was instructed to prepare designated areas for planting to maintain the city’s aesthetic appeal. On a related note, Engineer Yasser Abdullah, Head of the New Assiut City Authority, inspected the implementation of residential buildings for the “Housing for All Egyptians – Middle-Income Segment” in the 226-acre area. He emphasized the need to adhere to required specifications and quality standards in finishing works to ensure that units are delivered to citizens as quickly as possible.
