The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has announced the extension of the deadline for submitting requests to assign units and lands until September 29, 2025, along with a 50% reduction in assignment fees. This decision aims to ease procedures for customers; however, it does not apply to land located in the Northwestern Coast, where assignment fees are set at 10% of the prevailing prices, with a minimum of EGP 1,000 per square meter. This rule applies to all integrated urban development projects, excluding fourth-generation cities and cities in Upper Egypt.
The authority also announced that the reduction increases to 70% of assignment fees if the customer completes registration at the Real Estate Registration Office within one year from the date of the announcement, in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2018. Customers can benefit from the discount by submitting proof of registration to the relevant city authority, which will then proceed with financial settlement and complete the necessary procedures.
The authority stated that the new facilitations include all customer requests that have not yet been decided upon. This decision comes as part of NUCA’s policy to support customers, simplify processes, enhance investment, and promote legal stability.
