The Ministry of Housing, represented by the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, has set Saturday, January 18, 2025, as the final deadline for submitting the required documents for reserving residential units under the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” initiative. This announcement follows the official closure of payments for reservation deposits and the end of the grace period for those who purchased reservation booklets.
Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, stated that the deadline for uploading documents via the fund’s official website has been extended twice. The extension offers citizens a final opportunity to complete their applications for residential units within this presidential initiative.
Abdel Hamid emphasized that the extension is part of the fund’s commitment to providing a fair chance for all citizens to participate in the initiative. She highlighted that document submission is a critical step in the application process, noting that merely purchasing a reservation booklet and paying the deposit does not constitute a complete application.
The document review process will commence immediately after the submission deadline closes on Sunday, January 19, 2025. According to Abdel Hamid, the “Housing for All Egyptians 5” initiative has witnessed significant engagement, with 762,479 reservation booklets sold, 586,000 citizens paying reservation deposits, and 546,000 applicants registering on the fund’s website.
