Dr. Abdelkhalek Ibrahim, Deputy Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs, stated that the Ministry of Housing believes in the importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector.
This came during the opening session of the second edition of the “The Investor… Real Estate” conference, which was held yesterday, Tuesday, under the theme: “Real Estate… Challenges, Initiatives, and Financial Solutions.”
The Deputy Minister of Housing added that over the past years, the state has worked on providing new areas for urban development, implementing infrastructure projects, offering services, and connecting these areas to the national road network. He pointed out that the upcoming phase will see the Ministry of Housing relying more on partnerships with the private sector.
He emphasized that while the previous phase focused on construction and development, the coming phase will concentrate on partnership. He stressed that exporting real estate requires an inventory of the available properties to understand which ones are marketable, whether locally or internationally.
