President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has signed Law No. 16 of 2025, which approves the final account of the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 2023–2024.
According to Article One of the law, published in the Official Gazette, the final account for expenditures of the general state budget for the mentioned fiscal year has been set at EGP 4.37 trillion, as reported by the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
Additionally, the final account for the state’s general revenues, including proceeds from lending, sales of financial assets, and other assets, has been set at EGP 2.58 trillion.
