Engineer Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of the El Shorouk City Authority, has announced the immediate halt of illegal construction activities at their inception. This action comes in response to directives from Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities, emphasizing the need for intensified field monitoring and regular inspections to combat violations and stop unauthorized construction.
The head of the authority stated that during an inspection tour conducted by district officials and security personnel, unauthorized preparations for a wooden framework for columns were detected on Plot 17 in the Second District of the Seventh Neighborhood. This act was deemed a violation of the law. Immediately, in the presence of the district administration and security teams, the wooden framework was dismantled at its early stage, and the unauthorized construction materials and equipment were seized. Additionally, all necessary legal measures were taken against the violators.
The authority head further stressed the importance of continuous monitoring by the district authority’s head management, which ensures strict law enforcement against offenders.
