Directive from the Minister of Housing Regarding Ongoing Projects in Marina Tourist Villages

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, followed up on the progress of infrastructure development projects in the Marina El Alamein Tourist Center. These include water desalination plants, sewage treatment facilities, and roads. He emphasized the importance of completing all projects according to the agreed specifications, raising the level of services for both residents and visitors, and aligning the developments with the broader plan for the development of Egypt’s Northwestern Coast.

In this context, Engineer Ahmed Omran, Deputy Head of the New Urban Communities Authority, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the water and sewage systems, including a treatment plant operating with a capacity of 6,400 m³/day intended to supply the area’s irrigation networks.

The inspection tour also included monitoring the upgrade works of Station 102 in collaboration with the concerned companies. The tour confirmed progress in the electromechanical works. Housing officials instructed teams to promptly address any noted issues, comply with safety requirements, and submit regular reports to track the station’s operational status in preparation for welcoming summer visitors to Marina.
